Description

Onwards he went, onwards he hoped. The horror and fears of the past day embedded in his new supernatural possession. But for good it will be gone, the touch of gold lost in the river Pactolus. He strode toward his destination, his savior. As the river came into sight a once ember of hope ignited into a raging fire of aspiration. This hopeful fire warmed his heart; which had been turned gold by his curse of greed. This is a story of why greed will get you nowhere good, and eventually turns on you in any way made possible. The moral tells the reader that greed and money should never be your main focus in life and you greed could ruin the lives of others. This Greek myth shows that the true goal in life is to care and love, instead of what most people do: behave selfishly and care only about money. This is a short story based on the fable, King Midas and the golden touch. Please vote and comment, bye!
