"You sure do look like someone I know. Are you sure we haven't met before?" That's the one question that Mabel Leigh Brandon, will never stop hearing in her lifetime. But being a vampire for the past 81 years will do that to someone. Remembering only a few fragments of her human life, in which she sees a pre-teenage girls face, who is similar to her own. Mabel has been trying to figure out who the girl is and what her own former life was like. Along the way Mabel realizes she has a few special gifts that might make her finding's a little easier. But what Mabel doesn't yet realize that the one girl she is looking for already knows about her, and is awaiting her arrival with her family. When Mabel arrives will she feel like her life is finally coming together or falling apart even more?
