Chapter 1

Jamie is struggling with his mental health, sexuality, and his addiction to self-harm. His mother seeks refuge in the bottles of the booze she drinks late at night to escape the horrible event in the not-to-distant past.
Jamie is torn between his instinct to sacrifice his own recovery to save his mother, and his new-found knowledge that he can only save himself and no one else.

It Needs a Name is a day by day account through Jamie's eyes of what his life as become, the demons he fights and how he copes with the parts of himself that he'd rather kill.
