How I Was Turned

Amelia was merely expecting to enjoy her date night when she went to one of Utah's great desert parks after closing, not thinking of what lurks behind the shadows when no human is supposed to be out and about.
To her surprise, Amelia's date night ended with her date being mauled to death and her almost following him to the world of the deceased.
Now, no longer a human, Amelia has to learn to deal with what she has become and face the hard facts that go along with her new life, including learning to control the beast inside, dealing with feelings towards another that could be a betrayal to her past life, and adapting to her new world without being killed in the process.
Easy enough, right?
