Chapter 1: Claimed?

TOLD IN SHAY'S POINT OF VIEW

Shalynn feels as if hope has been lost, her father is dead, her home destroyed, her family is lost. Having no idea who's alive and who's dead, she doesn't know whether to look for people, or to mourn. She takes shelter in a house, trying to lay low close to the prison, or what's left of it, just in case a group member comes by. A group of cruel men cross her path, one of them claiming her. Frustrated, she attacks. Joe, the leader, shows her their code, if somebody does something wrong, is punished. A man, who believes their code is wrong, tries to help Shay unnoticed. Will Shay be able to leave these claimers and find her family alive?
