Prologue

Primrose Delvira, an Englishwoman by birth, was given to Madeline Destler's care in lieu of her being a bastard child. Madeline, seeing her as a sin even more so than Erik, promises her to him when she turns 19. Receiving her the day after Erik disappeared, she sends her with a letter to the Opera Populiare after her death and told Primrose she had to marry him for no one else would marry the both of them. Primrose, now homeless, finds Erik and he takes pity on her situation but doesn't accept her proposal, still heartbroken from Christine leaving two years ago. Will the two find love in this made-up fantasy?
