If you all don't know the original story, it's about a fox named Todd and a hound pup named Copper, Todd and Copper met out in the woods when both of them were wandering away from there homes, they became best friends, one day Copper didn't come to the the Woods so Todd went to his masters house, a hunter named Amos, Amos hunted foxes but in spite that, Todd wanted to see Copper....
