Why??

This book is about a girl named brooklyn who moves to New Orleans from Atlanta with her mother. She starts going to a new school named Lincoln High. And move into a rich neighborhood. She goes to school and finds out that her teacher lives next door to her. Her teachers wife invites her mother Talia and her over for dinner.
