Prologue

I guess, the moment I saw him, I knew there was no way around it. I always knew I was different than all my friends back home, I knew deep down who I really was, what I was attracted to, but I couldn't let myself get into something that was so much more than I expected. Something so much more than I could've ever had imagined.

Father told me, loving someone from the same sex is wrong, it's a sin, a disgrace. ''Always stay away from these kind of people, son.'' He used to say, and not for a moment I doubted his words.

I was fine. My life was sorted. I knew my future. But then I met him, and I felt it.
