Here Ren meets people she actually finds herself wanting to be honest with, and even someone she may want to give her heart to. But things are complicated by Blue Jones, the elusive rebel with a dark past, that lives across the hall. He's everything Ren isn't, but Ren soon realizes he's just as much a member of the Screwed Up Club as she is. Suddenly Ren finds it hard to control the feelings and emotions she's kept reigned in so tightly, and he starts seeing her, the real her, regardless of how hard she tries to stay away. But even as Ren begins to let those closest to her in, she finds out that the demons of her past, of Blue's past, aren't willing to stay there.
