Abri is a runaway from Sydney.
She left her home when she was 17. Her mom was a drug dealer and a user, and her older brother always tried to assault her. She's never met her dad, and the rest of her family didn't really care about her. She feels broken inside.

The day that she meets Luke Hemmings, she can't get him off her mind. He claims that he is broken too and that he would like to share his feelings with her. Abri doesn't believe that he feels the same, unlike her, he's sweet and affable. And why didn't he run away too? When they start talking each other, Abri's life starts to change.
