When eighteen year old Joshua meets eight year old Evelyn, his parents friends daughter, he is nice to her and befriends her. She then end up having a crush on him. But when his and her parents are killed while he is baby sitting her. He then stands up to be a man a takes care of her, it is so that the state doesn't put her into a foster home. Acting as a father figure always protecting her, They start sending assassins to kill her. He will do anything to protect her even if it means becoming a trained killer in order to keep her safe. He does some research into their parents deaths. It is only when he finds out that his and her parents death was gang related, and now they are after her. However he doesn't notice that she is starting to grow more and more fond of him everyday he is with her. Until she finally tells him how much she really loves him. Then she finally gets to have him all to herself, but something unexpected happens and shocks both of them.
