It’s been five years since Cassie left the life and people that she knew and loved. She’s managed to find someplace to stay, with a few changes that is. But other than that, she’s been able to get on with life-but just barely. Cassie can never forget what she left behind though. Everything has gone well for Cassie, until one day, someone from her old life pays her an unexpected visit. She learns of all of the troubles that has been going on back in the Ice Moon pack, and she doesn’t like what she hears, and after being greatly convinced to do so, she returns to the place she once called home. But what she doesn’t realize is that things are worse than what she was told. Pack members are being killed on a regular basis, houses burned, kidnappings, disappearances, and a very big secret that tips Cassie over the edge of breaking. Can she save her former pack? Will her friends stand by her side, even though she left them five years ago and is now considered a traitor and a criminal? Will Jake be able to forgive her? What will happen to Cassie when she finds out she’s been lied to her whole life? Who will help her through times of struggle and death?
