1: Prologue

Since she was eight years old, Sang has been living with an abusive family that's hated her. When they move to South Carolina, she finally gets the courage to run away - but at what cost?

Note: All primary characters portrayed are those of CL Stone, author of The Academy series. I'm receiving no financial gains from this, nor will any be sought. Some scene settings/dialogue can be found in her first novel, but the primary arc of the story is my own.
