I learned at a young age that no one would actually want to care for me. I was on my own. The only thing that would support me in life was my education. No one would be there for me. The only person I could trust was myself. I learned all of this the day that I realized I wasn't going to leave the orphanage. But after eighteen years of hell, I am finally free. Honestly, it pushed me to work harder than I ever would have expected. I graduated top of my class receiving with a full ride to an amazing university. This is where my story begins, at the beginning of my freedom and my happiness. However, there might be one person who can see behind the smile and mend what's broken.
