Prologue

Hopper is a backstabbing, debt-ducking, miserable excuse for a human being.

So when a precious egg drops into his lap, his immediate thought is to pawn it, and start living like royalty. However, there's something about his new find which renders him unable to wilfully give it up.

This story takes our unlikely hero out of the safety of the crime ridden city he grew up in whilst he is hunted, chased, cursed, slapped, kicked in the groin, and experiences a whole other world of headaches he never knew existed.
