It has been 20 years since Peyton last went to Gravity Falls, Oregon. She moved to New York when she was 19, and became a Detective there. When she was 28, she adopted a twelve-year-old orphan girl named Phoebe. A great job, great home, and a daughter who loved her very much. Peyton doesn't think her life could get any better. But what will happen when she receives a call from her boss, who tells her that a crime had been committed in Gravity Falls, Oregon? Will Peyton find out who committed the crime? Can she do it alone, or will she need help from her childhood friend? Will she find love along the way?
