Emily Daniels, 13, best friends with Maya Hart and Riley Matthews. They are starting their 7th grade year in middle school. She is also friends with Farkle Minkus. A new boy, Lucas Friar, comes and Riley falls head over heels for him. Emily lives down the hall from Riley and her family so she is mostly there at their apartment.
