Chapter 1

In the land of Spero, there are six main institutes: Levis, Caligo, Quae, Navigo, Regere, and Amoveo. Each institute represents a different kind of magical casting. At one point these institutes where highly regarded and populated, but when a civil war broke out turmoil and savagery swept across the land.
It has been twenty years now since the last Great Rebellion between the non-casters: Nullus and the casters of the Institutes. But time is running out and the treaties won't last much longer, war is coming.
