After Malachite unfuses, Lapis has no other option than to stay with the Crystal Gems as they search for Jasper. Unfortunately, they have an addition that she is not too keen on befriending any time soon. Steven has other ideas to get her and Peridot to be at least a little friendly towards each other, and that seems to be working... more-or-less.
