Eros, commonly known as Cupid, God of Desire was betrayed twice by the woman he loved. Through the pain and deception, Eros no longer believed that true pure love existed in anyone, not in the Gods nor in the mortals. After finding a wicked joy corrupting love, he would use his divine powers to taint and defile the love of mortals, making both men and women blinded by lust. He continued to exist to the present time, continuing his reign of treachery over mankind. Even as a rich man of New York who cares nothing about the women who drool over him, he continues to avoid companionship and love. Aleta was just another victim on his hit-list; she refused him and chose to be faithful, so he ruined her potential marriage.
