Madison's life was supposed to be like one of the many popular girl stories you read in books or see on television. She had a hot boyfriend, good grades, a best friend and she was part of the school's cheerleading squad. But that all changed when Sarah, her best friend, died tragically. An overdose according to the police. But Madison doesn't believe it, she'd been there that night and she's sure it was something else. If only Madison herself could remember...

Everything gets even more complicated when Madison suddenly starts seeing dead people, Sarah included. Together with her ghosts and Hayden, her mysterious new neighbour, she starts finding out what really happened that night.
