CID1-Christmas in Dixie

Claire is your average 24 year old single woman. Her parents want to get married, and she is content the way she is. So she plots to fool her parents by asking a friend to pretend to be her boyfriend and join her while she visits her family during the holidays. But of course nothing can possibly go right for her and her friend bails on her at last minute. Claire panics worried about disappointing her parents once again, that she is so desperate that she begs a regular at the coffee shop she works at to join her for the holidays. Surprised that the man actually agreed to join her, she runs with her change in luck to her hometown in Jackson County, Alabama. Will her family finally leave her alone? Or will the whole facade go up in smoke?
