Chapter one

Jack has found himself alone in the world as the last of his immediate family has died. In addition to the grief he now has to face he has been thrust into a world filled with creatures he thought to be myths and fairy tales. Along the way as he meets two companions Ember and Luke. Now three strangers are forced to band together to save the world from not only a great evil but a great evil the world has helped to start. As he learns about his heritage and the role he must now play he makes great friends and learns more about himself.
