Prologue - I have to leave

Gael lost his mate shortly after she had delivered their baby. He was forced to leave his pack since he didn't feel they were listening to what he needed and was asking for. It hurt to break the pack bonds but it had to be done to allow him to both recover and take care of his baby girl.

When he found the Lazy J Ranch and was hired it was only temporary due to his having a baby. He had to prove to the manager he could do what she needed. What was going to happen? Would he find a new mate? What about the pack who's property he was now on? What was going to happen?
