Teddy, an 18 year old with a full ride to college, should be anxious but completely ecstatic about starting college and giving his family a better life. However with carelessness and crushed metal causing the lose of both parents, he no longer has that in his grasped. Instead, Teddy has a much bigger and precious responsibility.

His 5 year old little sister, Ellie.

With help from his mother's parents, he moves Ellie to a place he hopes benefits her most. In the mist of his new responsibilities of guardianship, Teddy and Ellie are thrown into a world they do not know. Apart for the first time, Teddy must learn this new world quickly and rely on others if he ever hopes to be reunited with Ellie.
