Chapter one, Bhudapest, part 1

"You ready?"

I glanced over at Clint. " 'Course I'm ready. Let's get this bird in the air before you have to make another bathroom break."

Clint frowned in mock offense. "Whatever you say, Agent Romanoff."

I smiled slightly, then began liftoff procedures. "Flight control, this is Hawkeye Alpha one-one, requesting liftoff from deckbay B-12. Over."

Clint raised and eyebrow. "Hawkeye?"

I shrugged. "Beats 'bowman' or, 'girl-in-a-catsuit', right?"

He laughed, and nodded. "Yeah, I kinda like it. Hawkeye..." He trailed off, and stared out the window as I slowly lifted the bird of of the already airborn deck.
