Yukimura Chizuru is homeless, every night she takes shelter under the overhang of rooftops but one night some ronin stop her for some "Well deserved" money that she doesn't even have. In short they end up chasing her. And who is there to save her? None other than Hijikata Toshizo the shinsengumi's Demon vice commander who suspects her situation.
