Gunnar is the Beta of the Hemmingway Pack when their territory is threatened. At the same time the Marrok Pack is in desperate need of an Alpha. They decide to move their pack and combine the two. While visiting the Marrok Pack for the first time, Gunnar meets his mate, a human boy named Max. Gunnar is relentless in his pursuit of Max.

As Max faces an identity crisis, confused over his incredible attraction to Gunnar, Gunnar is helping the pack settle in, preparing for the Rank Challenges and rogues, all on top of winning over his mate. Can Max and Gunnar overcome all this?
