Sage Rosa Ellewood a 16 year old with a past she wants to forget or forgotten, her mother leaves with her 3 older sisters to work on a important case. She is left with a family who don't seem to like her very much she finds herself living in hell. Finding out that their is a secret amongst the family she doesn't know about she finds herself in trouble all the time trying to fend for herself as much as possible, She finds scraps of paper which helps her uncover things about her father, stuck trying to find answers she enlists the help of her best friend and the cousin who is super nice to her, she finds herself falling for him who also has a secret to hide?
