"You think..." I laugh, "that you can reject me and then take me back?" They stair at me blankly. "Two years ago I would have done anything, and I mean anything, to be with you." I said. "Melilla, please-" Damon said, different emotions filling his eyes as his hand gripped my forearm. "Don't touch me!" I hissed, my fangs coming out as I shoved him against the nearest wall and lifting him off his feet. "You gave me up. You took part in my pain. You took everything from me!" "Malilla," Damon started but was cut off yet again. This time not from me but from the tiny voice behind me. "Mama, up!" cried the sweet voice, tears running down her sweet face. ------------ Malilla Dusk had the life from hell. All that changed the day she was rejected. She left with nothing but the clothing on her back. On the night of her first shift she shifts in more ways then one.
