Description
Dr. Farah Abed was intelligent. Top of her class since elementary school, she knew what success looked like first-hand and had reached every milestone in her life with gumption. People from the outside looking in, would compliment her on her success and tell he that she had a perfect life. They would tell her that she'd be a great mother and wife and would eventually find a perfect man in her life. Yet, Farah knew otherwise. When she looked in the mirror, she could see nothing but misery. Her mother pestered her with her hypocrisy, her community had begun to ostracize her. She felt as if she was on the outside of the "happy world" looking in and all because she was falling into a category of women that they found despicable, the unmarrieds.
