"The bodies are piling up. The suspect list is getting shorter." In the town of Lakewood, most people fitted perfectly into cliques, stereotypes and groups. There were bitchy mean girls, perverted jocks, rebellious outcasts, awkward nerds, privileged rich kids - the lot. Even if they didn't exactly fit into these categories, they'd damn sure try to squeeze into one. Saffron Evans did not fit into a category. And no one could work her out. She almost fitted into every category, which made her most confusing. This meant one thing - She had outsmarted the system. Not fitting into a stereotype at high school is one thing. But when Nina Patterson is murdered and Lakewood is turned upside down once again, students begin to fit into horror movie stereotypes very quickly. Saffron had to be on the suspect list somewhere.. But everyone knows there can be only one 'survivor girl'....right?
