Patch is eager to test out being a father figure like Lucky of the Pound Puppies was for him back in puppyhood, only this time, he is going to be a 'dogfather' to the Air Buddies known as Rosebud, Buddha, Budderball, MudBud, and B-Dawg. However, when the Buddies learn that they have to leave their parents, they find themselves facing a life changing adventure with the Dalmatian.
