After Mitch is put through terrible, torturous events, it causes him to be scared of touch.

Avi, his boyfriend and saver, cannot make any physical contact with him without Mitch getting too freaked out by it.

Mitch feels bad, because all Avi wants to do is love him, but Avi's love is real. He would do anything to protect Mitch and make him feel comfortable.
