As Castle and Beckett begin to look toward the future, tragedy hits. While the team deals with the possibility of losing one of their own, secrets begin to scatter, leaving everyone wishing that they knew what was coming next. What would happen if they lost their mascot? What would happen if Kate lost the man she loved? And what would happen if the team's failure resulted in his death? Will any of them survive?
