Prologue

Speculo, the human world has 2 kinds of humans; normals and portens.
Portens are usually called freaks by normals, and they are rare only 1 out of 10 people is a porten.

Why portens are different than normals? They are born with special powers called preck, that's what makes them different.
Most of their powers aren't found until 12 and when it is they are killed for it.
There are special organizations runned by Portens to protect theirselves, to teach portens how to use their powers but it is illegal and when an organization is found it is destroyed.
