Meet Keoria Atkins. Keoria is quirky, unusual, unique, unsure of herself and has too much honesty for her own good. As well as being unusual herself, Keoria 's personal life is far from normal:
Her parents are both psychologists who never shut up about their work
Her brother has the brain of a mouse
Her grandmother is possibly a sociopath
Her greatest enemy is Gollum, her schizophrenic neighbor's cat
Her two best friends are the only people keeping her grounded
Lastly, her dog is named after Lana Del Rey

Things are about to become bizarre as Keoria starts high school. As her first real crush develops, Keoria finds herself becoming attached to her English teacher who is thought to be mentally ill by her students .
