Chapter One

"I would've thought a guy like you would've had a girlfriend, or at least a crush."
"Well, you thought wrong.." I mumbled, getting up.
"It's getting late, we've been out for awhile." I glanced up at the sky as it started to get dark. He nodded and got up, grabbing my hand and squeezing it gently.
"I don't like the dark.." He murmured. I nodded, allowing him to hold my hand. My cheeks turned pink as we walked down the darker path. Was I really falling for someone I just met?
