The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes Love Story Adaline Elizabeth Montgomery was an average girl, working for a living at a restaurant and volunteering at the animal hospital. She went through the same boring routine everyday. That is, until one day, one day that changed her life completely. London. Thor had been fighting a Dark Elf over the Aether, taking the battle to a different realm. But not all of the Aether was destroyed. A small sample of it found it's way to Adaline. Adaline quickly discovered her powers. Unfortunately for her the Russians were quick to snatch her up, doing tests on her. One test in particular, Adaline's throat was slit. She drowned in her own blood, a horrible death. The Aether did not die, it evolved and brought her back. The Aether is no longer using her as a vessel it has evolved into her. Since then Adaline has escaped and moved to America in hiding. She doesn't use her powers nor will she ever- That is, until The Winter Soldier stumbled in
