Skye crumpled up the academy's brochure and launched it at the tiny black garbage can in the corner, watching as it bounced off the rim and landed on the carpeted floor. She didn't know why she'd ever ended up at this academy in the first place. It only brought more seperation and pain to her. More heartache before it transgressed into numbness. But in the back of her mind, the reason shined bright. It was for Ryan, for the pack, and for James-the only surviving family member she had. It was to keep them safe. Safe from the danger that her presence could bring to all of them. And that's why she's been gone for many months. Why she puts herself through the pain-it's for the people she loves. After all, here at Blackamore Academy she just might be able to learn how to control her abilities. So that she might be able to have that happy ever after that everyone aspires for.
