Prologue

If Madeline had known that a baby growing in her body would earn her a slap from a husband she used to love, she would've left sooner. He left her and it was up to her to raise her child however she could. But when Jon makes his way back into her life, he brings destruction with him, and Madeline can't hold on much longer.
