Kyle was one of the best people you'd ever encounter. He was polite and had a good heart... That remained hidden. He was in a accident that nearly cost him his life, but instead cost him his sight. Kyle is blind, and gets around well with the aid of his Guide Dog Amy (short for Amethyst) or his cane. Malachi is also one of the best people that you'd ever meet. Her name, in fact, meant angel. She too was polite and had a good heart. She never stops helping people, from carrying the elderly's grocery bags to their cars to volunteering at the local bookstore with her Therapy Dog to help kids learn to read. But one day Malachi moves to Arizona, a desert that was hot and dusty. A land that should never have of been inhabited by mankind. But it was made bearable by thousands of stores and plenty of air conditioning. But she goes to school the first day, and accidentally bumps into Kyle, a accident that she knew she'd never forget... An accident that changed her life, and Kyle's too.
