Author's Note

Twenty years ago, Garanth's father killed Garanth's mother and cursed the land by opening a passage for the spirits of the Void.

Now the spirits of the Void are consuming the spirits of the land in a spreading curse of death. At the same time, Garanth's half-brother, possessed by those same spirits, is leading an expanding army driven mad by fear and hunger, absorbing village after village in a quest for absolute power.

To save the land, Garanth must defy his mentor and claim the Seat of Power before his brother reaches it, knowing it will cost him his humanity.
