Twenty-three year old Jade Matthews has never asked a man or needed a man for anything. She works hard as a bartender and tattoo artist.

Things change once she meets De'Ante Rodgers. De'Ante is twenty-four and owns self-named restaurant in Atlanta.

The meet briefly at the bar Jade works. At first the two don't vibe because of Jade's I don't need a man or want a man attitude.

De'Ante makes her realize just how much she wants and needs a man preferably him.
