Description

After the Battle of Hogwarts, the school was left in ruins beyond repair. But Harry Potter knew that Dumbledore wouldn't want his school left in such a state. After 5 years, he, Ron and Hermione organized a group of Ministry workers and the survivors of the Battle to help with the reconstruction. But there was one room in particular that Hermione was adamant to work on alone; the office of the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. But why? Because Hermione has a secret. A secret that not even Harry or Ron knows. And that secret, for an unexpected reason, is kept quiet between Hermione, the portrait of Professor Snape, and unknowingly by Neville Longbottom. Draco had been staying with his mother since the Battle. Narcissa had left Lucius and had moved out of Malfoy Manor for good. They could no longer look at the place as anything more than a graveyard. Both Narcissa and Draco were devastated after the death of Severus Snape. Draco is told by his best friend, Neville Longbottom, that there is a portrait of Snape in Hogwarts. He decides to visit Snape, and it soon becomes a weekly thing. Draco turns to Snape as a father figure and asks for advice on an assortment of subjects. Little does he know, Snape is slowly revealing Hermione's secret to him, Hermione is helping, and Neville is in on the secret. But what is it? And more to the point, how will they react when the secret has been told? In an unexpected chain of events, and a story of long-lost love, all Draco can do is look through the pensieve.
