The second book to the Maze Runner Runner Runner story. as Ember and her fellow group members make it out of the maze and head to a refuge. meeting other people, learning more about WCKD and what they are truly up against. When Ember and Thomas find out that WCKD is controlling the refuge and Ava is still alive they go out into the scorch. Can Ember survive the scorch or will she become another lost.
