One mistake was all it took to crack their trust.

Distance widened that crack into a void.

Yixing should've stayed and sealed the crack, because in the time that he'd spent away, she'd slowly slipped through the widening hole, and away from him forever.

Maybe it was fate that brought them together again. Maybe it was chance that he was the only one who saw her.

Maybe their separation was simply meant to be.
