Chapter 1

A Hunger Games fanfiction of love, war, and acceptance. Atala Porter and her boyfriend Maxen Fields are two runaways from District 12. They are looking for District 13, an underground district rumored about having food and shelter. When they are caught Atala is taken to the Capitol to become an avox while Maxen escapes and is determined to find her. They soon find themselves caught at the Capitol in a long awaited rebellion led by a District 12 native, Katniss Everdeen and District 13, the place they had hopes of finding.
