Alicia Kurt has a simple life. Growing up in the small and simple town of Briarwood she's got a usual routine; go to school, do her homework, watch after her younger sister and go to church. Simple. Boring. But all that changes when she meets Roxanne Giles; an easy going, carefree girl with lavender hair and enough tattoos to fill a map. Becoming fast friends, the two are almost inseparable. And as their bond strengthens so do the feelings Alicia has worked most of her teenage life to keep locked away; feelings deemed unnatural by her family and the place she worships in so readily, is loving Roxanne so wrong? And can Alicia accept herself despite her teachings?
